Fernanda Daudt | Sustainable Design and Sourcing Consultant

Fernanda is a designer and consultant for the Brazilian leather goods industry with more than 15 years of experience in the field. She advocates for Sustainable and Ethical Fashion and believes in social change by using discarded raw materials and artisanal production in this industry.

Fernanda has testified how creative ways to ethically manufacture products can develop impoverished communities.

Speaker at Good For the Earth, Good for the People conference in the United Nations, Fernanda presented Volta Atelier's project, a brand of upcycled leather accessories hand-stitched by Haitian refugee women living in Brazil. These products have also been showcased in several NYFW editions. Fernanda is also a Board Member of the NYC Fair Trade Coalition.

She was also selected to present one of her projects of artisanal craftsmanship in the production of shoe components at the First Global Creative Industries Conference at the Hong Kong University.

Fernanda works to create more awareness of the environmental and social impact of the products we all consume. She firmly believes that businesses and consumers have the power to create a brighter future.
